WPC subframe – stable base for terraces

Robust, water-repellent, and designed for outdoor use: A WPC subframe forms the load-bearing foundation of the terrace. When planned professionally, it supports a stable structure, sufficient ventilation, and the necessary gaps between the decking boards.

Advantages of a WPC subframe

• ✔ Stable base for the terrace structure
• ✔ Water-repellent & with UV protection
• ✔ With mold and algae protection
• ✔ Easy to maintain in use
• ✔ Intended for outdoor use

Suitable base for WPC decking boards

The WPC subframe creates a stable connection between the ground and the terrace flooring. Due to its water-repellent properties, it is suitable for terrace construction in outdoor areas. A load-bearing substrate, appropriate axial spacing, and a structure that allows water to drain and moisture to dry off are important.

For use in outdoor areas

The WPC subframe consists of a wood-plastic composite and features UV, mold, and algae protection. Since WPC can expand and contract with temperature changes, sufficient spacing and the respective installation instructions must be taken into account during planning.

Simple installation & coordinated structure

With suitable installation accessories such as clips, screws, and rubber granulate pads, the subframe can be adapted to the respective terrace structure. Decisive factors are the specified axial spacing, sufficient ventilation, and professional fastening.

Low-maintenance subframe made of WPC

The WPC subframe is intended for use under decking boards and does not require regular surface treatment like visible wooden boards. For a functional structure, however, dirt and water accumulation in the area of the subframe should still be avoided.
