The right maintenance products depend on the floor type and surface. Oiled wooden floors require different cleaning and care products than lacquered or sealed floors. Vinyl, design flooring, and wood block flooring should also be maintained with products that are suitable for the respective surface.

Oiled floors should be cleaned and refreshed with suitable cleaners, wood floor soaps, or maintenance oils. The care helps protect the surface, maintains the natural appearance of the wood, and can visibly refresh worn areas.

Sealed or lacquered floors require cleaning and care products that are suitable for the closed surface. Gentle cleaning is important so that the protective layer is not damaged. Oiled maintenance products are generally not suitable for lacquered surfaces.

The frequency of maintenance depends on usage, the surface, and the room. Heavily used areas such as entrances, kitchens, hallways, or commercial spaces require more frequent care than living spaces that are used less often. Regular dry cleaning and damp mopping are the foundation; additional care is provided depending on the condition of the surface.
