G-Park Maxi 2-layer pre-finished oak parquet
G-Park Maxi 2-layer is a high-quality two-layer parquet for full-surface bonding. The 11 × 100 × 1000 mm format has a more spacious feel than classic G-Park 2-layer, while remaining more finely structured than wide floorboards or XL formats.
The result is a calm parquet appearance with clean lines. G-Park Maxi 2-layer is well-suited for living rooms, hallways, and open areas where a genuine wood floor with a bit more board effect is desired without the floor appearing too dominant.

Advantages of G-Park Maxi 2-layer
-
Calm board effect
The longer format provides an elongated, clear parquet surface with a classic oak look. -
Stable 2-layer construction
The multi-layer construction is designed for full-surface bonding and ensures a technically reliable parquet solution. -
Oak with a natural effect
The oak wood type is warm, high-quality, and versatile – suitable for modern, classic, and minimalist room concepts. -
Matching grades
Nature, Object, and Rustic allow for different floor visuals – from calm and uniform to lively and distinctive. -
Selectable surface
Oiled surfaces emphasize the natural wood texture; matte lacquered surfaces appear particularly uniform and are easy to maintain.
Grade, surface, and board effect
With G-Park Maxi 2-layer, the grade determines how calm or lively the oak surface will look. A more uniform grade makes the floor appear more restrained, while more distinctive grades show more wood grain, color variation, and natural features.
Select G-Park Maxi 2-layer by grade
The grades range from a calmer oak appearance to variants with more visible structure. This allows the floor area to be either more understated or intentionally more natural and characterful.
Surface and maintenance
The surface determines the look, feel, and maintenance. Oiled parquet emphasizes the natural wood structure and provides a warm, more open effect. Matte lacquered appears more uniform, is easier to maintain, and is well-suited if a protected surface with a calm appearance is desired.
Construction and format
The two-layer construction combines a real wood wear layer with a stabilizing base layer. This allows G-Park Maxi 2-layer to remain easily manageable at a low installation height and is designed for full-surface bonding.
Compared to the classic G-Park 2-layer, G-Park Maxi appears calmer and more elongated due to the longer and wider elements. The surface remains clearly structured as parquet, but leans more toward a floorboard look without achieving the expansive effect of Maxi XL or the G-Park 2-layer solid wood board.
Installation and surface treatment
G-Park Maxi 2-layer is intended for full-surface bonding. This creates a firm connection with the subfloor that stably supports the longer format and enables a calm, uniform parquet appearance. A level, load-bearing, clean, and sufficiently dry subfloor, as well as a suitable parquet adhesive, are important.
For the surface, oiled and matte lacquered versions are available. Oiled surfaces emphasize the natural structure of the oak and have a warm, open-pored effect. Matte lacquered surfaces appear more uniform and offer a protected, easy-to-clean surface with a calm appearance.
The grade should match the desired usage and room atmosphere. Object appears particularly clear and functional, Nature is more natural and balanced, and Rustic is more lively and distinctive.
Tip: If a more compact parquet look is desired, G-Park 2-layer could be a suitable alternative. For a stronger board effect, it is also worth looking at G-Park 2-layer solid wood oak board.
Professional planning notes
G-Park Maxi 2-layer is bonded to the full surface. Before installation, ensure that the subfloor is level, load-bearing, clean, and sufficiently dry. Proper subfloor preparation is especially important for longer elements to ensure the floor lies calmly and stably.
Also ensure a suitable indoor climate during installation and use. Wood reacts to changes in temperature and humidity. Constant conditions help to reduce the formation of gaps, deformations, and tension within the floor structure.
