Bona Traffic HD – 2K parquet lacquer for heavily used floors

Resilient and quickly ready for use again: Bona Traffic HD is a water-based 2-component parquet lacquer for heavily used wood and parquet floors. It was developed for residential and commercial areas with high traffic intensity and is characterized by its wear resistance and short drying time.

The stated drying times apply under normal application conditions of approximately 20°C and 60% relative humidity. Deviating conditions can influence drying.

For heavily used wood surfaces

Bona Traffic HD creates a sealed and resilient lacquer surface. The transparent lacquer is non-yellowing and available in various gloss levels. It is suitable for modern residential areas as well as for commercial or public spaces.

Even a heavy-duty sealant cannot completely prevent scratches, pressure marks, and other mechanical damage to the wood. Suitable protective measures as well as regular cleaning and maintenance therefore remain necessary.

Areas of application

Bona Traffic HD is suitable for wood and parquet floors in hotels, restaurants, offices, schools, retail spaces, and other high-traffic indoor areas. The parquet lacquer can also be used in intensively used living spaces.

Application notes

For untreated wood, the standard structure provides for one layer of Bona primer followed by two layers of Bona Traffic HD. Previously lacquered surfaces must be cleaned and lightly sanded. Depending on the condition, one or two layers of Bona Traffic HD are then applied.

Before application, the lacquer is mixed with the corresponding hardener component. The finished mixture must be used within a maximum of four hours at 20°C. Rugs and other floor coverings may only be laid after three days. The information in the current technical data sheet is authoritative.
