Structural Solid Timber Spruce NSi – KVH beams planed & finger-jointed
Our structural solid timber made of spruce in NSi quality is suitable for numerous structural applications in timber construction. The KVH beams are manufactured from kiln-dried spruce wood, are planed on all sides, and have slightly chamfered edges.
The 13.0 m long bars are finger-jointed and can be cut to size for shipping or to meet your required length. The available cutting options can be selected directly via the respective product variant.

Cutting the KVH beams
The beams are cut from a 13.0 m long initial bar according to the selected variant. This makes it convenient to order and transport even longer KVH cross-sections.
Important note regarding cutting:
We perform the cuts manually using a chainsaw. The width of the saw blade results in a corresponding loss of material with every cut. Therefore, when cutting combinations where the total length equals exactly 13.0 m, the indicated segments may be slightly shorter than the calculated nominal dimension. The cuts are not to be understood as precise-to-the-millimeter finished dimensions.
For applications where an exact final dimension is required, sufficient allowance should be planned for later precision cutting or finishing at the construction site.
KVH Spruce for structural timber construction
Due to technical drying, finger-jointing, and a planed surface, the KVH Spruce NSi is suitable for numerous applications in structural timber construction. Typical areas of use include, for example, timber structures, substructures, frame constructions, as well as other load-bearing and structural components – in each case taking into account the planning and static requirements of the respective construction project.
