Structural Solid Timber Spruce NSi – KVH beams planed & finger-jointed
Our structural solid timber made of spruce in NSi quality is suitable for numerous structural applications in timber construction. The KVH beams are manufactured from kiln-dried spruce wood, are planed on all sides, and have slightly chamfered edges.
The 13.0 m long bars are finger-jointed and can be cut to size for shipping or to suit your required length. The available cutting options can be selected directly via the respective product variant.

Cutting of KVH beams
The beams are cut from a 13.0 m long initial bar according to the selected variant. This allows even longer KVH cross-sections to be ordered and transported conveniently.
Important note regarding the cutting cut:
We perform the cutting manually using a chainsaw. Due to the kerf of the saw, there is a corresponding loss of material with every cut. The stated sections may therefore be slightly shorter than the calculated nominal dimension for cut combinations where the initial length is exactly 13.0 m. The cuts should not be considered as millimeter-accurate finished dimensions.
For applications where an exact final dimension is required, sufficient allowance should be planned for later trimming or final sizing on the construction site.
KVH spruce for structural timber construction
Due to the technical drying, finger-jointing, and planed surface, KVH spruce NSi is suitable for numerous applications in structural timber construction. Typical areas of use include, for example, timber structures, substructures, frame constructions, as well as other load-bearing and structural components – in each case taking into account the planning and static requirements of the respective construction project.
