Structural Timber Spruce NSI – KVH beams planed & finger-jointed
Our structural timber made of spruce in NSI quality is suitable for numerous structural applications in timber construction. The KVH beams are made from kiln-dried spruce wood, are planed on all sides, and have slightly chamfered edges.
The 13.0 m long rods are finger-jointed and can be cut to size for shipping or according to your required length. The available cutting options can be selected directly via the respective product variant.

Cutting the KVH beams
The beams are cut from a 13.0 m long initial rod according to the selected variant. This makes it convenient to order and transport even longer KVH cross-sections.
Important note on cutting:
We perform the cuts manually using a chainsaw. The cutting width of the saw results in a corresponding loss of material with each cut. The specified sections may therefore be slightly shorter than the calculated nominal dimension for cut combinations where the initial length corresponds exactly to 13.0 m. The cuts are not to be understood as finished dimensions accurate to the millimeter.
For applications where an exact final dimension is required, sufficient allowance should therefore be planned for subsequent fine or final trimming on the construction site.
KVH Spruce for structural timber construction
Due to the technical drying, finger-jointing, and planed surface, the KVH Spruce NSI is suitable for numerous applications in structural timber construction. Typical areas of use include, for example, wooden structures, substructures, frame constructions, as well as other load-bearing and structural components – in each case taking into account the planning and structural requirements of the respective construction project.
