Structural Solid Timber Spruce NSI – KVH beams planed & finger-jointed
Our structural solid timber made of spruce in NSI quality is suitable for numerous structural applications in timber construction. The KVH beams are manufactured from kiln-dried spruce wood, are planed on all sides, and have slightly chamfered edges.
The 13.0 m long bars are finger-jointed and can be cut to size for shipping or to suit your required length. The available cutting options can be selected directly via the respective product variant.

Cutting the KVH beams
The beams are cut from a 13.0 m long starting bar according to the selected variant. This allows for convenient ordering and transport of even longer KVH cross-sections.
Important note regarding cutting:
We perform the cuts manually using a chainsaw. Due to the kerf width of the saw, there is a corresponding loss of material with every cut. Therefore, the specified sections may be slightly shorter than the calculated nominal dimension for cut combinations where the initial length corresponds exactly to 13.0 m. The cuts are not to be understood as precise millimetre-accurate finished dimensions.
For applications where an exact final dimension is required, sufficient allowance should therefore be planned for subsequent fine trimming or final cutting on the construction site.
KVH Spruce for structural timber construction
Thanks to the technical drying, finger-jointing, and planed surface, the KVH Spruce NSI is suitable for numerous applications in structural timber construction. Typical areas of application include wooden structures, substructures, frame structures, and other load-bearing and structural components – in each case taking into account the planning and static requirements of the respective construction project.
