Glulam Spruce Beam GL24c – Cut to Size
Our glulam spruce beams are suitable for numerous structural applications in timber construction. Glued laminated timber – glulam for short – consists of wood lamellas bonded together and is used particularly where load-bearing timber structures with larger cross-sections or lengths are required.
The glulam beams correspond to strength class GL24c and are manufactured according to DIN EN 14080:2013. The melamine resin adhesive used results in a light-colored glue line.

Glulam beams cut to size
The 12.0 m long glulam beams are cut to size for you according to the variant selected. This allows even long glulam lengths to be conveniently ordered in the segments required for transport and processing.
Important note regarding cutting:
We perform all cutting manually using a chainsaw. Due to the kerf width of the saw, there is a corresponding loss of material with every cut. Consequently, in cases where combinations of cuts add up to the exact 12.0 m raw length, the resulting segments may be slightly shorter than the calculated nominal dimension. The cuts are not to be understood as finished dimensions accurate to the millimeter.
For applications where an exact final dimension is required, sufficient allowance should therefore be made for subsequent fine or finish cutting on the construction site.
Glued laminated timber for structural applications
Spruce glulam is used for timber structures, roof constructions, supporting frameworks, purlins, columns, and other structural components, among other things. The dimensioning and use are based on the static and planning requirements of the respective construction project.
