Glued Laminated Timber (Glulam) Beams Spruce GL24c – Custom-Cut
Our spruce glued laminated timber (glulam) beams are suitable for numerous structural applications in timber construction. Glued laminated timber – or glulam for short – consists of wood laminations bonded together and is used particularly where load-bearing timber structures with larger cross-sections or lengths are required.
The glulam beams correspond to strength class GL24c and are manufactured according to DIN EN 14080:2013. The melamine resin adhesive used results in a light-colored glue line.

Glulam Beams with Custom Cutting
The 12.0 m long glulam beams are cut to size for you according to the selected option. This allows even long glulam bars to be conveniently ordered in the segments required for transport and processing.
Important note on cutting:
We perform the cutting manually using a chainsaw. The cutting width of the saw results in a corresponding loss of material with every cut. Consequently, for cutting combinations that total exactly 12.0 m, the specified segments may be slightly shorter than the calculated nominal dimension. The cuts are not to be understood as finished dimensions accurate to the millimeter.
For applications where an exact final dimension is required, sufficient allowance should therefore be planned for subsequent fine-trimming or final cutting on the construction site.
Glued Laminated Timber for Structural Applications
Spruce glulam is used for, among other things, timber constructions, roof structures, supporting frameworks, purlins, columns, and other structural components. The dimensioning and application depend on the static and planning requirements of the respective building project.
